What is in Dhaniya Panjiri?
- Four Portions
- 2 cups of coriander seeds, ground
- one-third cup of dried coconut
- Four tablespoons of raisins
- Four tsp of melon seeds
- Eight tablespoons of ghee
- 1/2 cup of sugar powder
- One cup of lotus seeds
- Four tablespoons of almonds
- One tablespoon of green cardamom powder
The recipe for Dhaniya Panjiri
Step 1: Combine the nuts and lotus seeds and stir-fry them.
To begin making this delectable panjiri recipe, heat up some ghee in a flat-bottomed pan and add the nuts and lotus seeds. Stir-fry them until they get golden brown, stirring constantly. Once they have browned, take them off the stove and set them aside.
Step 2: Cook the coriander powder over a low heat for 8 to 10 minutes.
Now, add the coriander powder to the heated ghee in the same pan. Over a low heat, cook the coriander powder for 8 to 10 minutes. After some time, the powder will start to smell really aromatic. Switch off the flame.
